In Fall 2016, I taught a 1-credit course titled Food Justice & Social Change for a group of 16 students in the NU Explore Program for undeclared students. We worked with three community partners for the course: the Sustainable Business Network, Fresh Truck, and the Boston Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics. We also had engaging guest lectures from many people throughout the Boston food justice community. You can see the syllabus for this exciting course here!
